The Road Goes Ever On

The Road Goes Ever On is the retirement travel website of Mark and Vicki Sherouse, featuring their world-wide independent travel from 2008 to the present.

July, 2022, update: after three months in Europe--Rome, Florence, SW England and Wales, Paris and the Dordogne--we are back in the States through August, mostly in the southeast, Tennessee and North Carolina, before heading back for Berlin, Prague, and Vienna.

For more up-to-date coverage visit also our blog at www.roadeveron.blogspot.com, now approaching some 4,000 searchable posts and some 50,000 pix.

Vicki's Practical Guides to World-wide Travel are here.

The Road goes ever on and onDown from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone,And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet,Until it joins some larger wayWhere many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.
