The Road Goes Ever On

The Road Goes Ever On is the retirement travel website of Mark and Vicki Sherouse, featuring their world-wide independent travel from 2008 to the present.

April, 2022 update: after nearly five months back in the States, in DC and Knoxville, then California for the holidays, then in our RV in San Diego and on a road trip to Florida and then the southeast, we are back in Europe for a while...a month in Rome and Florence, a month in the UK (London and gardens), and then a month in France (Paris and the Dordogne).

For more up-to-date coverage visit also our blog at www.roadeveron.blogspot.com, now approaching some 4,000 searchable posts and some 50,000 pix.

Vicki's Practical Guides to World-wide Travel are here.

The Road goes ever on and onDown from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone,And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet,Until it joins some larger wayWhere many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.
